On-site surveys

The network can offer a range of on site survey services ranging from a specific energy survey on one piece of equipment, through to a complete survey of all motors on site.

Analysis

Vibration

The detection and analysis of vibration is a useful technique to solve an immediate problem or to be used as part of a condition monitoring regime.

As part of a condition monitoring programme, it can give an early warning of a variety of problems such as bearing defects, mechanical imbalance or misalignment.

The network has the ability to offer a range of vibration analysis services.

Thermographic

The detection of heat is useful to identify areas of potential weakness in both electrical and mechanical equipment.

Thermographic analysis involves the use of a thermal imaging camera to detect temperature values in a system which can then be analysed as part of a condition monitoring programme.

Emergency service

The network operates a 24 hour emergency call out service, 365 days a year.

This service covers all aspects of our capability from the supply of new motors through to emergency repairs.

Repairs

The Brook Crompton Motor Centre network has capability throughout the UK for the repair and overhaul of low and high voltage ac and dc motors.

This includes the repair of hazardous area motors which can only be undertaken by approved personnel.
